Akuj is a poetic visual portrait of a Turkana tribesman and his family, struggling for survival due to climate change.
This documentary follows the story of Eipa, a tribal elder, who lives off the land and depends on his livestock to provide for his family. As the pastures disappear, he loses his livestock and struggles to feed his family. This is a portrait of a community and family that are living through the worst of the effects of the Earth's changing climate.
